I couldn't care less about "followers" Seabee. You Obviously are the one with an issue. I have said the exact same thing You have that each model has its Own Unique Look. Tricia Confirmed that the LE Doesn't have the ACC and I admitted I was wrong about the 50th Anniversary LE having it, However She Did Not Know what the Different Lower Grills were and She Never Answered My Question whether the Lower Grill with the Blanked Off Ends Houses the ACC Sensors when so equipped. That's what happens when people get so jaded in their beliefs and try to make it sound like they are right and know what they are talking about to get their followers, it's ridiculous. I've been saying it and saying it... each model is going to have its own design cues to differentiate them apart... much the same as the stang with performance package and the wheels. To a certain degree I find it amusing but there comes a time when someone has to step in and set it straight or at least try to. Even then with all supportive evidence and fact they still continue to try to debunk it
Yes it is My Theory and Until Tricia or Someone Else that Knows for Certain I Still believe that Lower Grill Design with the Blanked Off Ends will be the one used to House the Adaptive Cruise Control Sensors based on the Design and Placement of the ACC Sensors on Other Ford Products, as Well as Other Cars with ACC. I Really Don't Care whether You or Anyone Else Believes it or Not. If I am Proven Wrong I will admit it, but given the Evidence it just makes sense.
