Anyone else have this problem? How’d your dealer resolve it. I got a call from the parts manager telling me he needed a default code in order for him to order the wiring harness and actuators. The tech saw the issue and told me he’d order parts but I guess that didn’t happen.

It’s not letting my cycle throw the exhaust modes. It seems as if the actuators get stuck while driving or upon startup. Sorry forgot to mention that.

I like to disassemble things.
You may need to lubricate the shaft in each. I'd verify the harnesses haven't melted from contact with the mufflers too. Mine were in direct contact.

How far back/forward should I check. Even at that looks like the dealer I went to is stupid asf. You’re telling me a trouble code needs to be showing to order parts?

The harnesses can be inspected from underneath the car at the back bumper. A small flashlight will help to illuminate the area and you can follow everything with your hands.

As for lubricating the shafts for the active butterflies, I'd take the bellypan off and lower the exhaust system down at the rear. I've already done this and it is easy enough with simple hand tools. You can unbolt/disconnect the actuators and set them aside, which will allow access for lubricating the shafts. Trying to spray something inside the exhaust tubing would be a weak attempt at doing it right in my book. You can see everything (aside from the harnesses) in this photo...

You can use a small hammer to tap around the circumference of the valves to release them if they are binding but they really need to be lubricated.
