Before anyone comments "why do you need a computer to drive your car", this is simply a discussion thread and am very interested in seeing how far we can go with FORSCAN.
For us that have stangs with lane keep assist, I think we can all agree that the feature works 50/50 and is not the best, but can help in certain scenarios. However, I was wondering if it is possible to activate "lane centering" on our car with FORSCAN. Alot of fords like the Edge, fusion, and even the Mach-E have lane centering or "blue cruise" (which is much more advanced) which actually keeps the car in the lane no matter what, similar to self driving. I have seen it in those cars and it works very well, and Ford's self driving system is on par or even better than Tesla's.
If our car has the lane detection camera, and the servos to move the wheel, and all the sensors necessary for "Lane keep", you would kinda also assume there has to be some way to fine tune those parameters in FORSCAN to make the system even more accurate and turn it into more of a lane centering system. That would be pretty awesome.
