Hi all, back in June my 2019 mustang gt was involved in a hard rear end collision and the car entered the body shop on 6/22/2021 and is still there as it stands. The body shop has already had 3 chances to fix all the issues because of there poor repair job. The original repair finish was on 7/31/2021 and when I was inspecting the car I could instantly tell the car wasn't repaired properly. The car then reentered the body shop on 8/2/2021 and was told it would be one week for all the issues to be resolved. Obviously this hasn't happened and I'm out of a car still. My insurance recommend the body shop franchise but did not disclose to me the one in my hometown wasn't apart of the repair program. I know it's not always a good idea to go with the insurance repair program but I did it because I wanted to keep my insurance accountable Incase things went south like they are now. Sadly I wasn't made aware that this shop isn't apart of the program tell today and my insurance refuses to do anything about it even though other shops in different city's are apart of the program. I tried going to the body shop to talk to management today but was told they are busy and turned away. Does anyone know what I can do to resolve this issue. My friend told me I should contact BAR and throw them under the bus, but I don't know if that's a good idea since the car is still in the body shop control.
