Hey All,
I've had some play in my steering and some squeaking from the area near the steering shaft. I wanted to retorque the couplers if possible to make sure they're tight. I've seen the discussion in this thread (https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/steering-wheel-play.69464/) where the coupler facing the steering gear was tightened (marked "b" in the below image), but so far haven't found much info about the one facing the firewall (marked "a".)
With that context my question is: is the coupler marked "a" in my image here accessible from under the car?
I don't have access to a lift myself to look under the vehicle, and haven't found any helpful images as of yet. I'm planning to rent a lift but wanted to know if I can even access this part first.
Thanks for any advice, tips, etc!
