Had a question about everyone’s experiences with the A10. When I’m trying to do a dig or just launch etc it sometimes with go 1-2 redline or sometimes shift like butter through the dig. It’s palm beach tuned and while I’m waiting for data logs to be reviewed I was curious does it happen to others ever? Happens randomly with traction on and off. I can paddle it from 2-3 but seems like the car doesn’t like doing it on its own sometimes. Any reason for intermittent redlines?

Are these dig runs on the street and what tires are you running?
The A10 first gear is aggressive and the car is likely losing traction when this happens so the engine goes into an almost free rev state and hits the rev limiter before the trans can complete the 1-2 shift.
Could be something else though, would be good to hear feedback from PBD

yeah it’s just me testing out launches since the blower and rear tires. Running 305 r2’s with pretty minimal spin but it will lose a little bit. Was wondering if it’s just a thing with these trans not wanting to shift if there’s any wheel spin. Sometimes it powers right through the spin perfectly tho so I’m wondering what the threshold is where it’s like no thanks, stopping here lol.

The 4.70:1 1st gear ratio is basically useless.

Rob ended up lowering shift points a tad and fixed it right up. Strange that it was doing it tho.
