This will upset some of you but:
I think a MACH 1 HP will out run a GT 350 (Not an R) on almost any road course.
(1)The power difference is not what the numbers suggest. (2)The Mach 1 HP has better tires. I am sure the 350 has better braking and maybe better top end speed but I don't think it can keep up. Let the fire fly

I don't think anyone is really upset, or even shocked by now. An A10 PP1 with magride from 2018 could keep up with a GT350.

The part I don't get is the much better cooling. It has the same radiator, same trans, oil and diff cooler.

Definitely better than the PP2...and even that could keep up with the GT350 purely due to the much better tires but only for a few laps due to the aforementioned lack of cooling.

Only if driven by a master manual driver who swapped the stock motorcraft oil for royal-amsmobil oil and chainsawed the nannies out of the car while re-calibrating his or her right foot to be a binary on off appendage.

I smile every time I drive mine and that's all that matters to me. I think the hood decal and side stripes are awful looking on the mach 1.

Doesn't matter what others think. And quite a useless thread.. just looking on trying to get under the skin of members.

The R has the same drive train as the non R 350 so not sure what your talking about
The Mach 1 reminds me of a Labradoodle, little lab and not much doodle

I don’t know why people bash each other on about GT350 vs Mach. I have the Mach on order and owned two 350’s. One I bought brand new, neither 350 cost me as much as I’m about to spend on my Mach. I thought the 350 was wicked cool, I’m sure the Mach will as well. Both are mustangs, and I’m sure both will end up being great cars. Go bash the chevy guys.

Me either!?!
It really shows people’s character unfortunately.
I personally think the the GT350 is the coolest looking car I’ve ever heard or seen. I had the opportunity to drive one and had a grin from ear to ear.
But My Mach 1 A10 is way faster on the street in the usable power band.
And my Mach looks so badass in black, second only to the gt350 looks IMO
The GT350 is a race car that can street.
The Mach 1 is a street car that can race.
These are the last of the best V8’s to be produced.. Enjoy!

There are a few GT350 owners pulling that "trying to get under the skin" thing with Mach 1 owners as well.

I have no intention of bashing anyone. I just assumed that every one thought of the Mach 1 as a "Parts Bin GT" and not as good as the GT 350 on track. My 2018 PP1 R1080 has ran side buy side with a 350 from 60 to 140MPH (I have no idea how well the other guy was shifting) So from this experience I believe the MACH 1 will hold its own on a race track. If that upsets you I am sorry. GT 350 are very kool cars and I would love to have one. I have a very bad left knee so a 6 speed is not for me.

I looked at ordering a Mach 1 until I lucked into a surprise late arrival of my 2020 GT350 at my local dealership.
I like both cars. Would be happy with a Mach 1.
In the end I am very happy to have one of the last of the Voodoos.

Completely agree with you. I bounce between several sections because I just love mustangs. To be honest, I didn't even know what thread I was in when I posted. I saw the subject at the top of the main site and clicked on the title.

There was no reason for this thread to start. The OP just wanted to start a shit show.
