SO interesting development that spoils the entire GRANGER process.wowzers. i only had one real driving and 388 miles with the CUP2s. went back to the same stretch of mountain road yesterday with the PS4s and.......sorta want CUP2s. the car was way more planted in the corners. like it was being sucked to the ground.
the CUP2s just toss all the AZ road debris down the car sides though. not to mention they would not last more than 5k miles of spirited driving here.
it was cool to experience the difference and gain the knowledge though. had no clue it would be so dramatic.
now back to decal mods.
my car sat 3 weeks at the rail yard in KC for unknown reasons. other Granger orders came through there and found their way to the dealer at the that time. so how could it be a truck driver shortage thing....
the driver side front rim was noted to have minor damage when replacing the CUP 2s. someone damaged it with an impact and socket while removing it. that tire had an interior blister and rubber pieces floating around. this happens when you drive a high performance tire while flat. now i have a damaged front rim and unusable $500 tire. not to mention that tire would have failed under sport car driving conditions as some point...
GRANGER has ghosted me on the matter. non responsive to date. as a result i don't recommend buying a car from them. i dont recommend buying a car sight unseen either.
the car showed up with two factory paint defects that they noted and knew about, BUT failed to inform me of prior to my purchase. i had to ask them once the car showed up and was told to warranty them locally. next, the roof clearly had damaged and work done to it post build. the paint doesn't match. finally, the tire issue which they have completely ignored.
yes, the cost and process of purchasing the car was great. the wait, final product, and their concern for the customer post purchase suck.
