Has anyone tried this yet?

I have a 2015 Mustang GT Base Model with Performance Package.
I heard you need navigation for this to work, but I am confused on this as it is shown to replace the non-touch version(small screen) that comes in the base model. I thought you need the larger screen to have navigation?
Someone also told me that you can do this, but then you don't have navigation. I am perfectly fine without having navigation, I just want the larger touch screen with all the other options, is this a possibility?
Also is this the same product?
