Yes, I am aware you need to do a write up for the drive mode switch to work or if you want to link up the Ford App. The OBD connector does not work though. Do you guys know if the license is mandatory and if the fact that the Forscan software shows as beta affects in any way?Maybe I misunderstood what you mean by "VIN matched"... The As Built data does need to be tweaked via ForScan to enable things like the drive modes and fix the hazard flashers, etc. There wasn't any VIN info to change that I am aware of. Of course I could be wrong about that, but I didn't have to update a VIN when I did the swap.
I do not believe the full license is required, but it's not a bad idea to get one..
