Update - stock struts viking rear best settings 12c16r tires 15-16 psi to keep from breaking traction on the 1-2 shift. didn’t get to try lowering pressure before smoking my clutch. believe the video is of the 11.60 run before getting everything dialed in and it spin about half a rotation.

Good hook on the line @ GLD. I still think there’s some 60 ft. magic left in the 9-12 psi range.

my intention was to make one more pass for consistency on the launch and not miss second gear and hopefully get another 11.49. and then drop pressure down to 10psi but my clutch said f*ck around and find out and i wanted to drive home so i let it cool down and limped it home

MPH was still looking good. What will you be replacing the factory clutch with? What you pull it, will you please post pics? I’d like to see how it looks compared to my BBQ’d factory clutch.

That’s a great questions that i need to figure out. Obviously not another organic one, but not sure if kevlar or ceramic is best for a car that gets daylied for 9 months but also sees the track every other week. Then i need to decide if i need one rated for the current level of power or one upto 700

I’d say get one rated up to 700 in case you bump up the power level a little. The 2015-2017 GTs have a single disc right, whereas the 2018+ are twin disc?

15-17 has a single disc and there are several aftermarket offerings that are twin but those are rated 800+

I gotcha. I may have gone overboard for my new clutch, as it’s rated at up to 1000 hp (Ram Pro Street Twin Disc). I just wanted something that would have the potential to hold very well. I’m hoping it’s going to be a good fit for my setup.

the RST is getting a lot of recommendations but twin disc and over kill at 800+ along with the mach 500/600 but kind of worried about the organic not holding up to me being stupid but i was kind of eyeing up the lethal street fighter kevlar 525 or street warrior ceramic 700

My RST seems to doing just fine...I have only made 3 passes on it, but it held up well on Saturday.
