1. It is confirmed that there is an emergency physical removable key blade inside each fob which can be used to open the drivers door but not start the car.

2. When touching the ribbed area on the door handle to lock the doors you can look through the door window and there is a LED in the traditional place which turn red for a short time. If you touch the ribbed area again then you will hear a mechanical click when the double lock is engaged. I find viewing the red LED much easier than watching the indicators.

Don't then test if the door is locked by trying to open the door because - you will open the door !!!

Is there a slot around the cupholders to insert the fob if it has no battery and you need to start the car?

Think it's inside the arm rest box compartment underneath the padding at the bottom! There's a video on youtube (can't find as blocked at work) of a guy showing people all of the hidden places there are 'keys' in the US stang, doubt they've changed them for the UK ones, it should be described in your manual and your dealer should have told you during the handovers - however with how little the dealers know about the car in general, knowing the hidden spots a key blade are within the car/car keys I doubt they'll know but you might have a clued up dealer who isn't a tool like most peoples have been!
I'll give my dealer a nice test before he gets the cash off me (He'll get it anyway, I just enjoy fking with people)

Totally missed this, I hope they do this for my car as well, i'm a BSM (not to be mistaken with BDSM) customer, so hopefully the valet service transcends from others!
Yeah but you're a yam yam:lol:......me and Gibbo are BSM STOKE:thumbsup:

Not a yam yam, bought from BSM Birmingham, didn't get any discounts regardless of both my brother, and father auditing BSM for years ! But will pull that one up on them, have bought most family ford cars through them and we're quite well known as a family within the dealership.

For ref, I live somewhere in the Lichfield region out in the middle of nowhere, thankfully no horrid black country accent here :D.

Speaking of BSM Bham, walking past today, looks like a lucky fellow has just picked up a white GT with black stripes on it, with brown interior (er what? Didn't go well IMO), however, lucky person regardless picking up their car!!!

Called my dealer after seeing it to be told, that my EB will be their 2nd EB they ever handover (when it comes) and that their next EB will come in august, they've sold 3, with 90 or so GTs being sold, crikey!

If you open the boot while the car is locked, when it detects the key does it unlock the whole car or just the boot?
