Change oil soon

Had my oil and filter changed Thursday just gone by my dealer.

I had phoned them initially to sell me a oil filter as I was going to change it all myself. After a chat they said that it should not need changing after only 6 months and 3200 miles but wanted to do a full check over to make sure it was fine, they did say that if it needed changing they would charge me £99.00 which I was happy with.

Picked the car up in the evening, all changed fine and cost the £99.00 as advised.

Perfectly happy with this, would have been better if free but I was happy to pay and it's all changed now and rest.

Top marks to my dealer as well as no issues at all.

So, just as I thought, dropped the car off, explained again what the prob was, told them not to simply re-set and we'll take it from there.

Picked it up a couple of hours later, 'it's been re-set and an 'session' has been sent to Ford' :shrug:

So, I'll just order the stuff and do it myself then! :headbonk: oh well it'll take me another 5 months to do the remaining 3000miles for the first service :doh:

I suppose for £80 or so an oil and filter change is worth it for the remainder.

Just what I expected from them, fuck all!
