I'm the opposite - I love all of that. However, leave the steering, acceleration, braking and gear changing to me (although I do like the idea of Audi's traffic jam assist - braking, acceleration and auto steering in heavy traffic only).

I know exactly what you mean. The BMW has the ZF gearbox - I initially wanted to drive the manual but the BMW dealer only had the auto. I was blown away by it and would definitely get the auto if I decide on the 1 series. As you say though, the 'tang auto is a different beast.

That's fine Manders. Judging by Ford's decision to revoke it, and the fact that no-one else on here had one, I guess we were the only fans. It was after seeing the local Ford dealer's US one at their "VIP Event" that hooked us.

The wife and I loved guard I'll have you know. ;) Just waiting for the Ford site to be updates so we have an idea what the new colours look like.

Nooooooooooooooooo! :eyebulge: It's still listed, but it gives me white. Actually I quite like the blue (listed as DIB, not sure if that's correct or not).

Guard is there, but the car appears as white when you configure the car. :confused::confused:

Didn't realise they were changing the colours.... Hope my favourite Guard is still there.. /me Goes to look...
