We could simply reverse everywhere (when parking): if you also tip the exterior mirrors down, you'd then see at least where the rear wheels might be about to curb.
Obviously, we'd look like pillocks. But pillocks with perfect alloys.
That's what I do with my Kia GT right now to parallel park. Mirrors down and watch as my alloys magically stay unscuffed only a few inches away from the kerb.

I should point out that its only my rear alloys that remain unscuffed. Fronts are torn ragged :(

I do this with my corsa, i've never scuffed it on a kerb... well... not when parking at least :doh:. Looks stupid as sh1t, but i'd rather have the car intact than dented (by kerb or by hitting another car)...

Might just spend a weekend learning to park the car once It comes, soothe my anxiety of it's size a little. :headbonk:

Simple answer to a lot of replies is; stay out of car parks (for a number of good reasons) and keep the beast out on the open roads where it belong :ninja:

In any case, we all know Clarkson is a tit.
