Was it a shop car or a Ford prototype?Saw this car at the ford performance booth in Ferndale at the Woodward cruise over the weekend.

What were those packages? I have not come across that info. This might be the "wink" that many of us have been hoping for.
Chrysler revealed new packages for the Challenger/Charger which are going to be available on the options sheets...seems silly that Ford would tease something like this and not find some kind of way to get it into production.
The headers, the 101 octane tune, etc. make the power numbers meaningless...but honestly, they could drop quite a bit of hp and torque and this 5.2L would still be the answer to our prayers.
They're adding the T/A package and the Daytona package is coming back around. What were those packages? I have not come across that info.
From what I have gathered, this is more or less right on. There should be a notable handling improvement over the current R/T packages. In any case, it's not just vinyl. The Challenger T/A will also get that awesome looking hood which is not only functional but nicely reminiscent of the 1970 T/A.Daytona Charger and T/A Challenger.
They're not all appearance. Essentially it's blending more SRT parts into lower trimmed cars.
Just get a tune and run E85. Or put on long tubes, CAI and IM. Or spend 6k for FI and out run 99% of the cars you will ever encounter:ford:From what I have gathered, this is more or less right on. As much as I love the Challenger (with the 392), the Mustang is a lot more along the lines of what I want in my garage. Ford is breaking my heart by letting their performance edge (from the end of the S197 run) just slip away.
This motor could fix almost everything.
You guys must be rich...When I buy a new car, I count on that warranty.Just get a tune and run E85. Or put on long tubes, CAI and IM. Or spend 6k for FI and out run 99% of the cars you will ever encounter:ford:
