Ok....originally I was going to purchase a Bullitt, but found a 2019 GT Premium with PP2. Therefore I am searching to do similar things to the car as the Bullitt had.

So what I would like is 500 whp..(edited...I mean 450 rwhp....around 500ish crank)...I think is very doable with this engine without doing too much.....not looking for FI or major mods.

I was going to do GT350 air intake, TB and upper intake but those parts seem to be a bit expensive even on FB marketplace....though I need to look more.

I know that this has been done from here to next week....so much so that when I search...it's overwhelming. This will be a highway driver and weekend fun car.

What tuner? I have used the SCT in the past on other mustangs, but what tuner is the go to nowadays? Air intakes are a dime a dozen and really doesn't do much but yes I want the noise...I still think the GT350 is the way to go if I can find a used one....your thoughts?

Throttle body and upper intake manifold is the part where I really start to loose what I should do. Again....not looking to do much just want to maximize.....should I just consider the expensive Ford Performance kit with calibrater?????

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!!!!

You want to use HP Tuners, It's been a while since I was in Arizona, but isn't Flagstaff in the Mile High Club?

You will basically have to do every bolt-on mod and have a dyno on the happy side to break 500whp.

What tuner?
Whatever tuning device your tuner works with.

Crap....I mean crank.....I am looking for like 450ish rwhp.....I'm dumb.

I'm thinking what I was looking at with tune will be pretty close right? Just looking for input.

Flagstaff is at 7000ft.....yes I know there will be HP loss at altitude....therefore looking to maximize what I can do with the losses already happening at elevation.

Again...I'm not racing....just looking to get back my loss plus adding some.

I don't think E85 is in your area. If it is, that would be the best way to increase HP, with a tune of course.

You can do GT350 manifold and LT headers, but by the time you do this, you are in ESS territory. Might as well just do it right and put a centri on.

450 to the tire is doable with LTHs, x-pipe, GT350 IM and an E85 tune. My Bullitt hit 469 whp on the Dyno with those mods.

What type of fuel looking to run? If looking to tune it on E85 some headers a CAI and tune will get you close to where you want to be. Let me know if we can help assisting in getting you setup with a parts bundle feel free to shoot me a message

E85 is very sparse in my area, certainly not convienent for a daily driver.

So 91 is what I will be running unfortunately.

Again....I will never know if I hit that magic number....I am just looking to optimize what I have.

I have the Ford Performance tune pack for my 2020 that came with the GT350 airbox, throttle body, and a tune. With the numbers Ford provided I believe it basically bumps a regular GT up to the little extra power the Bullitt got. I have had this kit on my 2020 since year 1, and love love love it.

Was just the right amount of extra power, moreso thru tuning, for daily driving and reliability. I would say check it out!

I didn't want a tune from one of these after market guys, where you read about something not quite being right/ever corrected/some niggling issue persisting. The Ford Performance tune has been literally flawless for my car.

I think you should still tune for E85, even if it means taking a couple of 5 gallon fuel jugs to buy some and bring them home to use for tuning. The reason being is you’ll only have to pay once for both tunes. If it ever becomes readily available, you’ll already be set.

That would be the power pack 2
I also have it on my 17 and it’s a very nice upgrade

Optimize what you have... This is the first sign you have been bitten by the mod bug. Symptoms include always wanting more even though you say you don't. Then you get more and again its still not enough.

Its a fun illness to have!!! But if you truly have been bitten by it, really read up on the forum to maximize what you want to do. If you are limited to 91, there are not a lot of gains to be made without getting some kind of low PSI boost installed as e85 is the magic ticket staying Na...

A shark bite chainmail suit might be the first mod needed, in order to stay out of trouble, because as said, when that first mod bite gets ya, it’s never gonna stop. The cost of the suit is about $7500, but mods can get to be double or triple that in price, lol.

Well, sorry to let you guys know.....this is not my first Mustang nor first car that lends itself to mods. I have had 8 Jeeps of different years. 6 mustangs....this is my first Gen 3 coyote. 3 Corvettes. And more motorcycles than I care to admit.

Again I am posting this because in the end, I can search this site....I know how to as I am on most forums for tons of things, but I am obviously late to the game on the S550 and the amount of knowledge is pretty exhausting. I was thinking the Ford Power Pack might be nice due to the fact it is a kit that has everything and it is Ford....however, it is pretty limiting whereas if I went with some aftermarket names for tuner and other things they can be used if I choose to do more later. Really doubt it, if I am going to boost anything at this point it will be my 95 Cobra....not daily and I love working on it anyway.

I am appreciating all the feedback....you all are a wealth of knowledge!!!!!!
