Agreed on all of that. Do you ever notice the temps get really high?

mice read the same thing but I have the ngauge and it runs normal. It must be a per car basis. I really like it tbh, tho I’ve been told a cai doesn’t give you any extra hp. All the videos have the hood open when they dyno it and since you drive with it closed you get none. But I honestly like the way it makes my engine look.

nope, there the same as my stock cai. But if you want to get a nice hp bump go get the Lund e85 tune. It really woke mine up and it’s now nice to put all those scat packs in their place.

Also, stock IAT’s with the Roush? I wonder if others have installed it wrong cause I heard it was worse than the JLT so I’m puzzled. What are your IAT’s like sitting at idle?

nope, there the same as my stock cai. But if you want to get a nice hp bump go get the Lund e85 tune. It really woke mine up and it’s now nice to put all those scat packs in their place.

I think you might have been looking at the oil temperature gauge. The air intake temperature gauge reads out the actual temperature in degrees.

yes I know that but I’m not near my car to give a actual number. I’ll relook tomorrow and tell you the exact temp.

I’m in my car and my IAT is reading 153, not sure if it’s to high or low tho

2018 GT 6MT. Roush CAI, insert removed. Kooks 2in long tubes, off road connection pipes, 3in kooks catback with h-pipe. Lund tune on 93 octane. About 90 degrees and 85 percent humidity. 443/399

Finally got my car dyno’d today. 467whp and ~435wtq on a mustang dyno in Temecula, CA. ~90 degrees, 29% humidity, 1017ft elevation, 5th gear for pull.

2015 Mustang GT, VMP 91 octane tune, PMAS tune requires intake with gold heat wrap, 2018 intake manifold with heat shield products heat shield, Ford Performance by Borla catback, McLeod RST clutch and steel flywheel, MMR billet trigger wheel, and DSS 4” aluminum driveshaft.
(still waiting on dyno sheet to come in from shop)
