That actually seems extremely low for e85 tune no other mods. What did your logs look like? Any timing being pulled? Any false knock?
No knocks or anything, here is my final dyno. I honestly thought I’d have more hp cause I’m using the Lund e85 tune. The dyno was just to check hp. But I was told once I did it I’d be around the hp of a gt350. I’d appreciate your opinion on this:

Interesting. Your baseline is extremely low. But your increases / deltas are about right what I would expect from e tune alone (wouldn't expect anything from the cai itself really) Just under on hp but over on tq so that's good. Out of curiosity what did your e test out at? Just wondering on fuel quality.

@Marketplaza I am curious do you "feel" the difference with the tune from stock. Like the car has more power and torque?

yes I do. The base rwhp was 397 so I gained a little over 30

Yeah. Shoot that is good. I am like opposite. My baseline dyno was like 438 HP and 404 tq with only an H pipe and was thinking dang that is just too high. So IDK how all that works. But main thing is you see that 30 HP increase with the tune
Pretty good.

The e here is at about 70%, but to be honest I had to come back to the shop to get the e85 tune, they first gave it a 91 tune and before they gave me the e85 it was 397. But they never did a baseline dyno after the regular 91 tune. So I honestly don’t know what hp I started out with. The baseline tune (and the sleeve from my Roush cai was removed) I think gave me extra hp but I’m unsure if it did.

My issue is with a e85 tune and cai I’m still lower then a stock gt. If that’s true I got a bummer engine.

I see. But it may not be the engine and just the dyno inputs. IDK. You thinking of going to another dyno shop? That's exactly why I did a baseline dyno just to make sure everything was ok. On a vid on YouTube for American Muscle he pulled your same numbers about. There were comments discussing it..

A dyno is a comparison tool. It won’t tell you the actual horsepower of your car. It will tell you the amount of change in horsepower.

If you want to know how much horsepower your car produces put it on the track and look at your trap speed. That’s the true horsepower calculator.

Every dyno is different. Some are heart breakers and some are month makers but the horsepower is the same regardless.
Good advice!!!!

Funny how it can vary so much. Although there does seem to be consistency. Most seem to have their baseline around 397 hp, that I've seen (not just on this thread). The 420+ seem to be the outliers but there's still a fair few of them.

It may not be a bummer engine. You had mentioned in another thread they did the Dyno pull in 3rd gear. That isn't the 1:1 gear so that will skew results as well. Like others have said, go to the drag strip, lay down some runs, and check trap speed. That will tell you what you need to know and is the best indicator of a car's power and performance level.

thank you for the advice, I was thinking I somehow got a bad engine. But I have a track here I can use but it’s closed caus of covid, once it’s open I’ll go do a run and I’ll post the results. I’m starting to think I should have just bought the auto model...but what fun is in a auto?ive always been taught that a good sports car is always a manual.

If dyno was done in 3rd gear that would definitely explain a lower result.

If anybody runs into a fully stock Bullitt dyno chart, I'd greatly appreciate the file :D. Just like any other PP1 GT, the Bullitt should be able to hit redline in 4th due to the 3.73 Torsen. Also curious how the GT350 intake and CAI affect the torque and power curves. Just want the chart to determine the most efficient way to drive/shift the car, so I don't care about the peak numbers. Thank you.

so I would get a higher hp result if it was in a different gear? You’d think the ppl at the dyno shop woulda known this.
