When I was buying I was looking for 301A car because I was just going to swap in leather seat covers and live without heated/cooled. Ended up finding my 400A car discounted to the same price range as the 301A cars I was looking at so that kind of made it a no brainer. I will say I've used the cooled seats way more than I thought I would.

every Mustang I have had has been a premium with Leather. for my 18 I got a 301A pp A10 and couldnt be happier. the seats are more comfortable and have no signs of wear or use. leather starts to look poor after a while due to wrinkling and use. my cloth still looks brand new after a year and a half.
3 years and 31K miles, and my cloth seats look brand new. On my 2012 GT Premium, the seats shit the bed after about 15K miles and looked terrible.

There are a lot of factors here that determine how long your seats will last. Quality and thickness of leather or cloth, what clothes you wear, how much you weigh, whether you have anything sharp in your pockets or near the seats, etc.

The leather seats in my 2014 GT premium still look great. To each their own.

How many miles on your 2014 GT?

Weird. The leather on my 2013 still looked great when I sold it, no issues.

Also, I don't want to pay the kind of money we pay for these cars and not have all the bells/whistles like nav, leather, heated/cooled, etc. Getting in the car and seeing the tiny radio, no backup cam, or anything else would be disappointing to me. On top of all that, if/when you do go to sell the car I've seen the cloth seat versions sit for awhile before selling at a price point that is generally quite a bit lower.

To each their own, but I go Prem and wouldn't change it. The only thing I wish I had been able to find is the Magneride.

I have the 401a package with all the other options you mentioned. I have the manual.
I had to special order to get the package I wanted, which included the leather Ford seats. The recaro's weren't comfortable for me. I really wanted the 'swamp-ass preventer' with the cooling seats. I use it from time to time- not every time I drive it. Still, glad I have it.

My 2013 had over 30k on the clock when I sold it and the leather seats still looked great.

I range from 225 - 275 depending on if I'm on a bulk or a cut.

Wow....you must weigh 90 lbs!!!! :cwl::cwl:
You're close! :giggle:

I'm 185. The load is pretty evenly distributed as I'm 6'2. I'm definitely not the biggest person out there lol.

I'm guessing it wasn't a daily driver? 70K miles in 6 years? Or maybe it was?

I did the 400A for the leather with the heated and cooled seats. I originally wanted 301A, but I liked the way that the leather felt, and when all was said and done it was only around $1k more than the 301A.

I bought it used. The guy before me used it as a show car so I'm guessing it wasn't his daily. I've had it for around 30k miles now. I try to detail the interior whenever I detail the exterior.
Before this car, I had a 2016 ecoboost. The leather seats in the ecoboost held me in place better(additional bolstering and design) than my GT does now. The ecoboost leather seats showed no sign of wear after 40k miles. The ecoboost leather is probably a step up from my GT now, but both [held/are holding] up great.

I'm not sure if you're having a problem understanding the words that were used in the post or what.......

That we're the same size, but my seat fell apart, while yours is fine. It's like I wear sand-paper clothes or something.
