Anybody else see this? 15ish mustangs stolen from flatrock early yesterday morning.

Well, if you (or me) get a delay notice and a changed VIN number, we’ll know why!

Thanks for sharing Coastal-Mach. Sorry, I didn't respond to you sooner JPJr.

Update on my moldings - The dealer could not find the wheel moldings but I was able to provide them with a part number. They scheduled the installation for 9/13 which is about 2 and a half weeks after the delivery of the car.

Part number and link for those who need to share it with their dealers:

https://accessories.ford.com/products/mustang-2021-black-wheel-lip-molding-1

Part# VMR3Z16268A

Second update:

The car has been at Healey Brothers Ford for the wheel moldings since yesterday, however, they cannot find them yet again... I dropped off the car to have them check the alignment, install the moldings, and fix a modem issue. They reached out yesterday asking to keep the car overnight "in case the modem issue takes a while". The advisor called just now because he cannot fix the modem - claims that they reset and drive the car and it isnt working. Not sure why they need to drive it when the issue is the car wont connect to the ford app. Also, he advised he still doesn't know where the moldings are and want to hold onto the car again over night and hasnt done anything with my alignment.

I have had issues with their service department before but this is frusterating.

Has anyone put on the 3m front protectant on a Mach1? I have installed this before on a few cars of mine and was going to put it on the Mach1 but the hood decal is covered and when its time to pull it off to replace it the decal might come off. Dilemma. Yes I have had to replace the 3m product on my 2014 Audi A6 . It was put on at dealer when purchased and I just replaced it this past summer, it was yellow. So what to do

Is the decal covered in clear coat or does it stand out on top. If its under clear coat then no issues. If its on the paint it could be a problem. Anyone know if it is clear coated over or not?

I do not think it is clear coated.

Well I went to that thread and yes there will be a problem with the hood decal.. I just might do the front end, mirrors and head lights and leave the hood alone

You can ceramic coat the decal, and with your being FJG PPF will adhere to the hood decal with no issues.

Nah, that was just the crew I hired to help circumvent the possible rail strike.

Seriously, though, WTF?
Supply chain, strikes, grand theft auto.....maybe we're not supposed to have these cars?

If you have FJG color you are lucky, as this is the only one color where the hood decal can be fully wrapped in the PPF without any issues since it uses a different material/texture than the other colors.
Here is my fully wrapped hood:

Granger received my vehicle yesterday, damaged from the shipper. From the pictures Ashleigh sent me, it looks like paint damage to the left front fender. I'm waiting to here back as to how they are handling this.

Does anyone know if a dealer does body work on a new vehicle prior to delivery, does this repair show up on Carfax? If so, how is it noted on the report?

99% of the time it should not. News cars are showing up with damage daily. what a weird car world these days.

I went to my dealer today to check on details (Ford had sent me email that car was built 9/12). Dealer guy checked computer and it agreed… It’s still “in factory” (I didn’t mention to him that it could have been stolen yesterday). Shipping: 9/28-10/04, destination Bay Area. He told me their deliveries by rail go (northern path) to Portland Oregon and then by truck to down to the Bay Area. 🤞
