Awesome! I think you made the right decision with all the craziness, inconsistent order fulfillment, and lack of transparency from Ford. My car is fully protected (xpel+ceramic), broken in, modified and ready to race which is way ahead of where my order would've been.
Did you do full ppf or just the nose. If I can inquire what was the price for your ceramic and ppf. Dropping mine off Monday

Do the mirrors look like a gloss finish with the PPF?
Been thinking about what areas I'd protect.

I have stealth on the mirrors which is a matte finish so it looks OEM. I’ll dig up a pic.

Thanks, I’m excited. My order is still out there. Truthfully I am tired of waiting and the thought of one more delay email from Ford really forced my decision.

Its a 22 in Kentucky, fully loaded minus Recaros, which is fine. She also has the Tremec, which I’m very happy about.

Finalize paperwork next week and then ship it home.
You are going to love the tremec! You can add the recaros down the road but I really like the comfort seats. Maybe you should make a road trip and drive it back yourself. :)
I look forward to seeing and hearing more about it!

Thank you Stephen, I have always had a stick, and my order for the auto was mainly for my wife. She wants me happy, so the go get it and smile statement was all I needed. The cooled seats were a must, I really do not fit in the Recaros well.

I would drive it back, but the thoughts of rock chips on that black paint along with the cup 2 tires, if I run into rain have me a little gun shy. Some of you have stated the cup 2 are ok, but from what I have read, they do not like any water.

Yes, I will post up pictures when she is home.

After going through what you went through of on and off dates from Ford I was willing to do whatever was needed to seal a deal. What an ordeal! So glad that is behind me now and I know you are too. Yea, the cup 2's are interesting, and will leave them on until they wear out before replacing them. I wouldn't let that stop me but I would add the Track Armour to the bumper and hood if I were to take the leap.

Do yourself a favor and put it on a lift before taking delivery so you can check everything out just in case. I ran into that issue with mine and the dealer was very transparent letting me know the details in which they took care of. I should have made a road trip and done my due diligence for sanity purposes. Live and learn- still no regrets!

Stephen,

Thanks for the advice, driving it home is not completely out of possibilities. So far the dealership has been amazing to deal with. I must say my local dealer understood and did not give me any gripe about my deposit. I pick that check up tomorrow.

Same here! Feyer Ford in Edenton was awesome. I really like working with smaller dealerships. What an exciting time it must be for you!

Congratulations on your Mach.

Just for some context. In 2016 I drove my Focus RS with cup2s from KY to Myrtle beach. I don't think they are as bad in the wet as some people do. Just take it easy. BUT I had a flat while driving through the mountains. ( took a slight detour through the tail of the dragon ). Cup 2 are soft and pickup nails etc. easily. Just be prepared. As much as I hate fix a flat, it got me there.

Congratulations and best of luck.
