Still plenty of time to build them and as long as the plant keeps running with good supplies they just build a shed load without a problem
My situation is a little different though because I can get one local, at MSRP thats specced pretty much how i would order it, EXCEPT the color. Im OK with the color, but it would probably be like my 3rd or 4th choice at best
Easy decision then you buy the one you can get now and keep the one on order, then sell it when you get the one you ordered, if it doesn’t turn up then you have one
Its not all that simple when id loose a fair amount, not only on value loss at trade in/private sale (if you can sell it fast enough) but also because i immediately want to do rims/spoiler to handling pack ones and then PPF/Ceramic coating so it stays as mint as possible. I can of course swap back the rims/spoiler but the PPF/Ceramic is just sunk cost if the order comes it, but if it doesnt and i end up keeping the one on the lot here long term i would have wanted it on right away
With all the parts available for the HP, you could even buy all the parts and have them waiting, for conversion. Do sort of how I've been doing with other parts (clear tail lights, X-pipe, Oil Separator, HP wheels, etc.). I've got a couple grand worth of parts waiting to get installed on week one. The extra set of HP wheels are getting powder coated, after I get word mine has been built.
I drove my wives Telluride home and cleaned/protected the inside and out before it left the garage. It's all black and was a lot of work. Spent 7 hours total on the process.
Seems priced low compared to the market. I would get eyes on it. Make sure its a real HP car. Used Muscle cars when you dont know the prior owner seem risky.
Well, they have a year old used Mach1 with 3k+ miles listed for slightly above MSRP, so they seem to think it's worth it.
