Yes it will be, I hope we do not have any more delays other than the scheduled vacation for July.It will be interesting to see what our Dash Plaque numbers are, if they end up being build the same day as scheduled.
I'm wondering if they do get built before their vacation, will they get shipped before then or after they get back? That's a two week difference.Yes it will be, I hope we do not have any more delays other than the scheduled vacation for July.
I bet they will sit until they get back from vacation. Final checks will probably be after. Also I read the cars are sent somewhere else for the graphics to be installed.I'm wondering if they do get built before their vacation, will they get shipped before then or after they get back? mine was 'in production' for almost a month, but that spanned a week shutdown as well.yeah same here. I wonder how long it remains “in production”. I checked for shits and giggles on 5/19 for a 5/23 and it was in prod.
Like @davtpa, I checked on my status on 5/19 and saw in production. My build date is 5/27, per Ford Performance. I have a window sticker. I followed up with FP and learned that the Blend Date on the sticker is when the car is scheduled to roll off of the line. The added there is 2-3 day variance on the completion date of the vehicle. Since I live in MI, about 45 minutes from the plant, I am hoping to have it within the next two weeks. That will make it 1 year from placing my initial order. Almost there.mine was 'in production' for almost a month, but that spanned a week shutdown as well.
edit: showed in production on 27APR (was scheduled at time for 06MAY). was finally marked built on 18MAY. and now shipped as of today. there was a 1 week shutdown between my start of prod and build dates.
that close, I'd be asking if I could pick it up off the end of the line. (I know they can't, but it'd be fun, to get to drive it off the last spot in the production line)Like @davtpa, I checked on my status on 5/19 and saw in production. It would be cool to pick it up at the end of the line. A friend of mine did that with hi Volvo. I guess it is an option they offer. He looked at the costs of the trip and shipping the car to the US himself, compared with Volvo delivering it to his dealership and found it was cheaper. So he made a trip over to Europe. I wish Ford did stuff like that. It would be cool to get a plan tour and pick up the car on the same day. That could be cool selling point for some of the premium cars they make. Think Mach 1, GT500, Ford GT. I will not trade the Track Attack, though.that close, I'd be asking if I could pick it up off the end of the line. Maybe you will get pushed to the original week. I agree with you, no rhyme or reason with scheduling and assembly. My Vin. # ends in 52529 and scheduled to be built week of July 18th., pushed back
from the June 27th. original build date.
I guess the lower the Vin. # doesn't necessarily mean it gets built before higher numbers?
If you saw you’re car being made you’d be amazed it actually runs.It would be cool to pick it up at the end of the line. A friend of mine did that with hi Volvo. I guess it is an option they offer. They do apparently run colors together. @Charlemagne and I were on the line at the same time with very close chassis #’s both VB.Maybe you will get pushed to the original week. I agree with you, no rhyme or reason with scheduling and assembly.
I was part of the launch team for the 2008 CTS-V. Made a lot of trips to the Lansing plant. Saw a lot of stuff. I was surprised then, but probably would not be as surprised now. It was cool hearing the first production CTS-V fire up at the end of the line.If you saw you’re car being made you’d be amazed it actually runs.

How close are the chassis numbers between you two?If you saw you’re car being made you’d be amazed it actually runs.
