Now that a lot of older HP orders are no longer material hold, my guess is the older HP orders will be ahead of the newer non-HP orders....at least I hope so because of my situation. Then again if there is a material constraint due to HP parts (wheel supplier or spoiler supplier out of stock) that would go out the window.

Depends on priority code and who has your order. I imagine a lot of the reorders got low codes though. I suspect you are right that the mix will be biased to hp cars for awhile though. Its just not being specifically targeted

One in particular was offering to place up to 3 orders per customer. It's a win-win for the dealer another car ordered and if the customer cancels they have a car they can mark up when it arrives.

Hey if I'm gonna get "used" to the benefit of the dealer, I'd like some damn compensation. You know like not a penny over invoice. What's this "MSRP" bullsh*t.

Hmm, maybe I can play this game and get @Atlas1 and @Mikepol2 off my case. Order a 600A in ruby and a 100A ecoboost in Cyber and then test drive the M1 and see which deal makes sense.

Totally, you could be making them $5-10k above MSRP. My October HP order is at Invoice thankfully. But I still don't trust my dealer with the markups I see of $5k plus at other dealers in my area.

So over in corvette land, there are serious constraints on Magneride. Anyone heard similar in the Ford camp on Mustangs? The 500 and M1 one have the system as standard...there is a theory that GM has just started hording them for the Z06, but regular C8 orders with Mag-ride are getting the option to cancel the feature or wait longer.

C8 and Blackwings use v4 of the technology. Ford is still stuck on v3.

Is Flat Rock starting back up next week or the one after?

I figure a week or two after production starts is when they'll start scheduling cars again. From hanging around here for the last 6 months, it sounds like you get scheduled and VIN about a month before the build date.
So, we might see some early May build dates in the next week or so...but only the Ford Scheduling RNG knows for sure.

Salesman or call ford yourself. I haven't got many answers either. After Mar 21st I will really be turning up the heat to find out answers, cause that's when that should start with the HP cars. A least get a answer to when we will get a Vin number assigned.

Handling packages I was told start production april Now depending on availability and parts how fast those cars get built is another conversational all together but figure if you had an early order in October you’re not getting your car till at least May at the dealership

I figure a week or two after production starts is when they'll start scheduling cars again. From hanging around here for the last 6 months, it sounds like you get scheduled and VIN about a month before the build date.
So, we might see some early May build dates in the next week or so...but only the Ford Scheduling RNG knows for sure.

Next week 3/14 AFAIK. I sort of expected a few next dates to trickle in this week. Id be surprised if we don't see them next week. We are already about a month out from the dates I've heard about.

Remember that Ford doesn’t build sticky tire Mustangs until April. The 3/21 availability we heard many times before for Handling Pack cars was probably built in to include that and give appropriate time for the weather to comply with scheduling. I’m sure come April 1, we’ll start getting Handling Pack cars scheduled.

I may have my 2021 Mach 1 with 10 Spd and HP for sale. Basically brand new, dropped off to my house and only put a few miles on it to get some tires put on. Would be looking to get what I have into and nothing more.

anyone know what they have been seeing these sale for? Miles has 20 miles on it.
