Yep, there was no such option with the Bullitt, and neither the other features, like LD, etc. ACC on a manual car makes no sense to me, but I'd have liked lane-departure warning. At least it came with blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, so that was enough :).
Gotta disagree with this. Having ACC on my manual 2019 PP1 GT is awesome! Helps it be an even better grand touring car.

The way Ford has implemented the ACC with the manual is brilliant. ACC stays on through the shifts - so if you do need to shift you can just do it and the car keeps doing its thing and rolling down the highway. I love it!

I was thinking go with the PP1 and MR. I personally don't see the value in the AE.
Everyone is different, but AE is one of my favorite features of my car. The ability to turn off exhaust for long highway stretches is a huge bonus for touring. Then, when I’m not on the highway, I can make it sound like this:

Active exhaust is huge. Best sounding Mustangs ever from the factory...right up there with the 12/13 Boss 302. I put on the boss side pipes and now I have it perfect.

I'm afraid I'll never be able to understand that sort of thinking, let alone appreciate it.

You've bought a car that's supposedly fun to drive, and then you actively choose to distance yourself from the matter of actually driving it.

What's the longest drive you do/have done in your mustang? When I'm driving 10 hours on a road trip (which I do) I don't need to be completely engaged in driving the _entire_ time. I have a 24 hour (each way) drive planned for this summer too...

On a long drive, I'll select a few pieces of the drive to be on a scenic highway (usually in the mountains around here) and I'm fully engaged during those times. But, in-between is just cruising on the interstate for hours on end. Why not sit back and relax a bit during those times?

The way Ford ACC works - you can leave it on and choose to mash the gas to zip around someone or have fun for a moment on the highway - then just let off the gas and it will slip back into ACC automatically and keep cruising.

I've had ACC in my main car (Ford Edge Sport) for the last 4 years - and I think that it is a huge help on these long drives. I am able to have better conversation, look at the scenery a bit more, be a little less worn down when I arrive, and be safer the entire time as well.

Somewhere over 10 hours (NJ to Mid-Ohio) is probably the longest driving day I've had in the Mustang. But I've had 12+ hour days driving other cars without ever thinking about using cruise control, too. Three of those cars were less suitable for longer drive days than the Mustang for reasons completely separate from the fact that they didn't have CC. I honestly doubt that I've ever used any cruise control for more than a mile at a time in the 55+ years that I've been driving.

Once I've settled in to an easy pace, throttle control and all, I'm about as relaxed as I'm going to get Most times this happens pretty quickly. Basically, I am "sitting back and relaxing", all by myself without any help. Handing control of speed and following distance off to the electronics would be more likely to increase stress than reduce it.

You have disqualified yourself from ever driving or being a passenger in a Tesla!

(I've never sat in one)

For sure. That was something I learned very early in my driving life driving in and around Boston MA.

Truth be told, I'd rather have to be busier with the throttle, brakes, and shifting even there as that helps keep my mind off how miserable the forward progress really is. It really is OK to have to work harder.

Teslas have never looked like a good fit for me. On several levels, not just the matter of doing driving things for me that I'd rather continue to do for myself.
