I'm assuming you are talking a straight line single run?
If so, the PP1 would only be faster due to stickier summer tires and possibly the 3.55 rear.
However for a single pull it would most likely be whomever got the jump.

The non pp2018 is not bad at all it got a similar suspension than the pp1 of last year's.
If you talking about faster as far as roadholdind the pp1 is faster stock for stock.
If you talking in straight line a non pp within the same trim will be a little bit faster du too lower weight than a pp1.
In straight line the fastest stock 2018 GT is a 301A (base with drag mode) A10 3.15 or 3.55 optional gear with the optional active exhaust.
However the 3.15 car have a lighter by 20 lbs aluminum housing differential.
The only real downside of a base 301A are the 18" ridiculous 235 tires. I sold my stock wheels and tire, problem solved!!
