It could have something to do with pre-loading the tires for better handling.
Yeah, I run 275/40R19 MPS4S square on 10" SVE rims myself.

Who makes these wheels for Ford? Are they Shelby Wheel Co. which is owned by
Drake Automotive Group? I'd like to be able to buy these at a "decent price" rather than
across the counter at Ford Parts...which I WON'T DO due to the extreme high cost, for my base Mach 1 that I will be ordering in FJG. IF they are not Shelby wheels, they are now making great looking 19" and 20" wheels for Mustangs. They are "flow formed", super strong and tested to the highest standards. But, not sure IF they are made in the U.S.

How about these for the base Mach 1? 19x9.5's....but, would have to be put on all 4. Shelby
doesn't have this in a 10" wide. Still look much better than the stock wheels. These come in 3 colors. This is the Gunmetal. Weigh 23.5 lbs and MSRP cost is $346. Shelby Wheel Co. on Drake Automotive Group's web site.
