Nope, definitely not a common issue. Probably a bad compressor or something.Has this not happened to anyone else?
Man alive... sorry bro. Sounds hella frustrating...So I have to rant/vent.
I called a few dealerships for a service appointment...WOW. They want me to drop off the car and "will get to it in 3-5 days". One dealer said the next appointment was in December! I have an extended premium service plan with rental/loaner coverage but they need a diagnosis...so I guess I'm just without a car for a week? WTH Ford!? Never had that crap with my shitty Dodge. We were looking at the Explorer ST...Not anymore. Is this the norm for you guys out there, or is this just crappy south ATL?
This actually isn't Ford's fault, this is just the state of the world right now. Dealerships have no techs, no parts, and massive backlogs because of that.So I have to rant/vent.

Sorry about you not getting what you want right away, sorry thats how everything is now. Where have you been? I get so mad when people can’t cater to me immediately! I need service now!!So I have to rant/vent.

I guess you never heard about 5.7 and 6.4 MDS lifter failures, ticking, and cars waiting for weeks being serviced.I had a 2016 SCAT Charger that didnt need service.
Didn't happen for me...so I haven't been in a service department in a few years. COVID has changed the industry. Also, I get it, shit breaks. Just didn't appreciate your comment. I actually don't have the tick anymore...just took an oil additive probably because the dealer put shitty oil when I paid for a "premium" plan.I guess you never heard about 5.7 and 6.4 MDS lifter failures, ticking, and cars waiting for weeks being serviced.
