went to order my MPS4AS a couple days ago, and the rears became unavailable.

So .... thinking of a wheel/tire pkg, and maybe even 18"s due to better availability,
Question is, will 18's fit the front? Anyone running 18's on a PP1?
I can assure 17's do not, as my last V6's winter pkg were def. too small to clear the rotors.

The wheel to rotor clearance is quite severe with 18s. I strongly recommend 19s to avoid that rocks and sand donā€™t cut the wheel barrel. Enkei PF01 and Apex wheels barely clear at 18 inches. Neither are cheap.

Rodger that, and had suspicion it was close as the 17 was a total no go.

19's it is.

Thanks!

The question is:

1) Put snowies on the OEM wheels and go big on a really nice set of summer wheels and tires?

or

2) Buy dedicated winter wheels and tires, and roll with what you have in the summertime.

Years ago I did #2 and ordered the least expensive 19ā€ (go 19ā€ for sure, not 18ā€) wheels Tirerack offered wrapped in Blizzaks:

In hind sight, and after selling my OEM PP wheels and Pirellis and scoring nice 20ā€ers, I would have saved effort by going with #2 from the get-go:

Either way, enjoy the snow in the ā€˜Stang. Itā€™s good fun,
