You already acknowledged the purpose of coolant flow thru a wastegate. It's a mechanical device utilizing a rubber/nomex or whatever diaphragm on a glowing red hot exhaust pipe. Engine coolant temp can be potentially 1000deg cooler that the exhaust gas. Your application likely does not require this cooling. Do a bunch of standing mile runs or road racing, then you may need it. A rip on the hway or even 1/4 mile racing doesn't require it. I'm sure you would see water on wastegates on any rally or road race car.Totally get trying to keep everything cool but I'm struggling to see how coolant lines to the wastegates will keep anything cool? Other than maybe the diaphragm inside it? Seems like senseless extra lines to run so I'm just trying to wrap my head around it. Clearly turbosmart added them for a reason but I don't see it....
