Hey, guys,

Recently drove a nearly fully-loaded GT Premium (had everything EXCEPT the 401a package or I would have likely gotten it then and there... whoever ordered that needs a stern talking to. :headbonk: :p ). Anyway, when the car started up I noticed a line of red LEDs flash onto the windshield. While test driving the GT, a car in front of me broke and the red lines flashed again on the windshield in a HUD-like appearance as the collision warning alert. Out of curiosity, does this almost-HUD serve any other purpose besides as the collision warning? It almost looks like it could be used as shift lights while in manual mode on the 10-speed (I think it's actually the same HUD lights that are in the GT350 which are used for this purpose)...? I didn't think about it until a couple days later and figured I'd ask here as googling is giving me nothing. :D

My 2010 SHO had that it was only for collision warning.

Disappointing :(
I really wish Ford would invest in a darn HUD like most other cars in the price range. :p It's the ONE feature I feel is missing.
