I've always wondered whats the black box underneath the spare tire well? Does it simply house taillights wires and such or is there more to it?

That's all the EVAP components for the fuel system.

As tempting as the active exhaust is. Would rather get aftermarket exhaust and drop some pounds. While all hope of a diet is lost for my car, the Mustang can surely benefit from it.
^^^Agreed. Damn the resonator and huge mufflers.

Taking out the resonator and replacing with X/H pipe should be relatively easy and cheap, resulting in louder exhaust (while still switchable volume) and shed a few pounds

The best angle of the 2018.

Are there added benefits to composite parts beside cost? Don't they handle temperatures better than most metal materials? Id also imagine that smashing one could cause LESS damage because the parts would simply shatter instead of bend and pulling from the resistance of metal? Are they lighter?

For me its welcomed, gives me options.

My mod path on MY18 shall be:

- Stock air box, modify it, drill out honey combs, remove carbon trap, fit K&N.
- Install 100 catted headers.
- Tune

That should be enough on MY18 to see close to 550HP crank and be pretty damn loud, if not loud enough I can dump the suitcase in favour of an H or X pipe for more volume and still control exhaust volume. :)

In short this car with the stock air box modified is an easy 500HP crank. Headers will give a good boost and one of these with around 550HP crank and 10-speed box will be one very rapid car, might see a 0-60 as low as 3.5s, which for RWD is moving some.

This is the reworked MT82, correct? Anyone see anything related to the transmission oil cooler which was mentioned in the esource book?
