Those of us in states where they spread lots of salt have to think about keeping it off the undercarriage. And many of us won't go thru car washes, for a number of reasons incl clearance issues and the damage those giant mops can do, not to mention the wax they spray everywhere. Even though many of us are really careful about not driving on salty roads you can't be too careful. So, ladies and gentlemen, I give you "Sam's spray bar". About $10- $15 worth of material. Neighbors looking at me funny, but what can I say? Patent pending.

Post a pic of what you have - sometimes vid may be too large to upload directly to this site. Or if you have a YT account upload the vid there then just lost link here...

Not so nuts, living with snow and salt, only 2 choices. Not driving or as you are doing preventative maintenance

Can't see "Sam's spray bar" but maybe it is similar to what I had when I lived in a snow climate" a lawn sprinkler on the end of 8' of PVC pipe with a valve and hose end.

I have an adjustable length gutter cleaning hose attachment with a swivel spray head. Slide it around under the car and insert in wheel wells. works great.

Great idea! What’s the pressure like coming out of the orifices? It doesn’t look very powerful. Do you attach a soap dispenser to it?

Fluid Filming the undercarriage is something I need to do.

That looks interesting.
I'm using this right angle wand for my Kärcher. Works fine, but the problem is, I can't really see what I'm doing. I just move it about and hope for the best. Maybe I should give this Hourleey thing a try. It looks like it might be easier to ensure an even spray of the entire undercarriage even if you're doing it blindly.

That's why mine gets stored for the winter. I've had my car for 5 years now and it has never seen snow or salt covered roads. I put it away around Halloween and bring back out around mid April
