Just wait till you hear an 18 with whatever corsa cooks up!
Beefcake put a Xtreme on his 2018 already. I haven't heard a clip though.

I mean, I get it.

Ford is not only trying to attract a larger swath of Int'l customers, they're also throwing daffodils to the millenial crowd.

Stuff changes.

When a Ford Exec refers to the GT350 exhaust as "...just delicious', welp ... since when has an exhaust been delicious.
Doing the same old-school thing isn't going to widen the customer base, and they've widened it here just as much as anywhere else. People (in a broader sense) don't want an old-school muscle car anymore, they want a modern sports/muscle/pony hybrid. They gain a lot more than they lose with a more euro V8 tone and feel.

The GT350 is that idea taken to 11 and is one of the most unique exhaust tones ever. Whether you like it or not is different, but you can't not admit it's unique. Most do find it some adjective with a similar emotional context to "delicious".

I think this motor sounds much better with a higher pitched exhaust and thats how I prefer it. The best sounding exhaust I ever heard on this car(2015) is the full ARH system with x pipe. Higher pitched and a lot less rasp than corsa. It sounds nothing like "american muscle" but I dont see this car as american muscle at all.

My 16 GT has the SVE cut & clamp and it does the job, weight loss and I can hear my pony. For more weight loss and better tone I plan to do axle back but, I am on the fence as to the brand. I did Bassani's on my 3.7 and want to hear theirs for the S550 GT.

Sweet. This should mean a cheap, good sound and good looking upgrade for 15-17 owners who want a little more but don't want to spend 1000 bux on some aftermarket mufflers and twin tips.

^ Don't forget to add the cost of the rear valance for the twin tips as req'd.

Yes of course. Another possible solution for those not wanting the dual tips is to cut the inner tip off and weld it shut. That would just turn it into a single offset tip as the 15-17. That is of course if they line up with the OEM valence opening.

Although, I imagine that the bumper covers are the same for both years so you could just swap those out and not have to cut and mess with anything.

H-pipe sounds beefier. X-pipes neuter the V8, make it sound like a smaller V8. X-pipes add rasp and make it sound to Euro. No thx. And a 15 lb weight drop is not going to do anything either. 100 lbs, maybe, but not 15.

Just installed this (SVE x-pipe) on Saturday. Unfortunately, I am going to have to get up under there and fix it or take it to a muffler shop. I didn't realize I would need multiple stands to keep the mufflers at the right angle and height coming out the back. We did the best we could with what we had, but it came out looking like crap. Also, the slip over and clamp design leaks like a mother. If I have time, I will buy more stands and redo everything. I am contemplating welding the axle side, as I don't see how the clamps will ever full seal. Anyone else do this install and have some tips?
