How much is that? I'll bet 10 grand with inflated dealership installation prices

*shrug*. Install it yourself. If you can't, then you need to be able to afford to pay someone to.

I am already in this boat somewhat. I am wanting to get the car "ready" for when I tear into an intake, tune, headers and some type of forced induction. My list would be as follows:
not in any particular order...

Short throw shifter
1,400hp Half Shafts
Aluminum Drive Shaft
Heavy duty clutch with light weight flywheel
springs
BMR IRS Rear Diff Bushing Kit
BMR Control Arms Vert. Link Rear Lower
Drag radials

This should be good for some hard launches and get it "ready".

Then last list of mods would be"

CAI, Headers, Cat Delete + Tune

Then.....blower/turbo :headbang:

All just my .02

Yep, those were my absolute MUST HAVES. I have the exhaust and get my windows tinted this weekend.

Next, I'm going to fix the wheel hop and possibly lower it, but that will probably be it until she is paid off and the warranty is gone.

Isn't a restrictor antithetical to the purpose of a CAI?
Partly. Two purposes of a CAI are increased air flow and increased intake sound. You can accomplish the sound without a tune. If you increase air flow (more than just minimally), you need a tune.

So it depends on your purpose. OP didn't want to do a tune and didn't think he could do a CAI. He can, actually, but not without some limits.
