Getting 27 hand calculated on my work commute. Which consists of:
50 miles interstate each way. Cruise set to 75 always. Occasionally passing semis at 80+.
2018 gt a10 3.15 with 1100 miles using regular gas

I’m impressed. My 2015 focus st got 28 on the same route. And that pos needed premium to run right. GT seems to love regular so far.

Oh and mustang dash usually shows +1 mpg over hand calculations

23mpg over the last tank which was impressive considering we had a few 100º days and I am on a square 285 setup.

I have averaged 18.8 since I bought the car. Driven it 1646miles.
I have 95% of the time driven the pace of others.

The last tank I got 20.1 mpg and I might have a 3-4 quick pulls. I have been in quite many stop and go situations though.

The route(15.5miles) from work home with no traffic I managed 31mpg following the set speed limits.

I was able to get 28mpg avg for one way from LAX-SAN-TUS starting at 150 miles on the ODO. It seemed my sweet spot for decent mileage was at 70mph ACC on the flat stretch with calm wind but of course once I got into 70 and 75 speed limits, the mpg started going back down to a zig zag of 24-26 when going past 75mph with some crosswinds.

I however got around 26 avg from TUS-PHX-LAX on return. I was running into headwinds though. I am averaging 14mpg vs my 13mpg Fusion Sport 3.5L for my same city work commute pattern.

I was using 91 Octane for the entire time since I got the car, I would not mind using 87, but the reasoning is my work commute is so short at 6 miles on local road with some traffic and I would put myself in higher than normal ops, so I thought the higher detergent amount of premium in my tank for the city traffic and city driving I have to put on the car with very little freeway use, hoping I would create less deposits over the life of the engine with 91 vs 87. my driving pattern for the last 3 years has only put about 7K on my cars annually.

I might probably go to 87 due to nowadays it is enough detergent vs premium for a modern engine. It is roughly about 30 cents more around my area difference.

Gas mileage is based on two things- the vehicle and how you drive. Some cars are naturally gas guzzlers no matter what, others are great on gas. But you could experience worse gas mileage than someone else based on how you drive. I have owned cars that are "good" and "bad" on gas and will mention that my GT is really good on gas compared to at least a couple that I have owned in the past. It burns much less than my 2011 Camaro SS and a 2010 WRX, both were 6 speeds- and they required premium fuel too. (The SS averaged 19 and the WRX 16). My GT averages almost as much as my 2017 Camaro RS with a V6 (automatic 8 speed). I average 25.8 in my GT, (Camaro was 27) pretty darn good for a V8- and that's on 87 octane. I am very pleased with the fuel economy.

On long flat highways, I can get up to 28-29mpg.

On my daily commute with a hilly highway and city combined, I have managed to carefully get up to 26mpg, but normally about 24mpg.

80 mile round trip with cruise control set at 74 mph. Im blown away how good the gas mileage is on these cars.

It'd be nice if there was a way to "calibrate" the trip computer fuel economy calculation because mine is pretty consistently about 7% high, compared to calculating it by hand using the actual amount of fuel used.

Edit: For my highway trips I'm getting 24-25 mpg (actual not trip computer), but that includes driving through a couple of small towns and also driving on our 80/85 mph speed limit toll roads for some of it.

On a straight highway run with no stops and keeping it at 70 or less, I think I could get 27+.

A10 with 3.55 gears.

There is a thread somewhere here that tells you how to dial it in....

38 mpg coming home from Thanksgiving.

Wind at my back, mostly downhill, and using adaptive cruise around 65 mph. Also did some mild hypermiling techniques like decelerating up hills.
