How about the welding - what is needed for that? Is it difficult?

It’s quite simple. However it’s stainless so you should tig weld it to be properly done. Really takes no time to do that aspect. But easiest done off the car. I took mine to a buddies shop n used his tig welder.

Looks really nice Frank. Can let us know if you did the exact same cuts? Like but a 12 inch tip and cut to 6 and 6.5 inches? Tig welded?

Thanks and yes I did everything like he said but I mig welded mine. I got 4 tips off ebay for $88.00 or something close shipped,they were 12 in truck tips.I do think tig is the way to go but I did it Sunday and I only have a mig welder.

When you cut the tips, does it alter the sound at all when you put new wider ones?

If it does I can not tell it seems the same to me. I know it will change because I am getting ready to go all out I got a Whipple I have had sense December and i'm putting headers on it but keeping my active exhaust.

Awesome - thanks. I'm getting ready to cut my tips and put these on. I'm afraid whether the smaller pipe will show through this tip and make it look weird?
