2017 ecoBOOM mustang why?

I have had my mustang for 2 years 2017 ecoboost premium auto paddle shift. Just a heads up I doubt its just my luck but the ford performance tune keeps blowing up my engine.
1st engine blown head gasket
2nd engine (used 55k miles) blew up with 300 miles on it
3rd engine (used 60k miles) blew up less than 2000 miles
Waiting on my 4th engine anyone have any ideas why this is?
I'm just running ford performance calibration with cold air intake more of a cruiser no races.
Any ideas or suggestions I will be on my 4th engine in a year any ideas or mods to prevent this from happening?

Coyote swap it. Tbh trade it in once its fixed itll cost you less than replacing the engine

Bad luck...?

If used engines are the replacements:
1) What model years are they coming from?
2) Are the engines coming from a reputable source?
3) Do those engines possibly have pre-existing conditions?

How is each engine failing (ie: certain cylinder being affected, what are the catastrophic results, etc)?

Have you reached out to Ford Performance for any insight?

Have you had any way of reviewing data logs to research point of failure?

How was the car being used at time of failure (speed/rpm)?

To have 3 engines catastrophically fail now is 2 engines too many and unheard of for a 2017 S550 EB, especially if the car isn’t being abused (ie: during racing, WOT runs or dyno sessions).

Are the mustang Ecoboost engines direct injection like the ST’s? Are you getting LSPI. Only reason I ask is I know 2 locals from my ST days that went through engines like you have, both were bad about large amounts of throttle and low RPMs.

Either the worst luck in the world, or something's wrong with that tune. I'm amazed how the stock 2.3 EB stays together with the 310 HP out of the box.

Just wondering but how do you know it's the tune?

What cold air intake are you running? if it is not supplied by Ford Performance the calibration / tune may not be compatible. Also what octane rating fuel have you been running, have you experienced any spark knock? When the engine was replaced did you replace the intake, or swap the old one over? If the first engine had a catastrophic failure and there was debris in the intake or possibly the intercooler you could have damaged the replacement engines by sucking it in.

I don't like what I hear about the Ford PP tunes. The PP2 tune for the 5.0 is known for frequent engine pinging. An aftermarket tune from a reputable company is the way to go. My Lund tune for example has never pinged once and this includes many tunes and re-tunes for modifications.

As for the Ecoboom, I would ask why not? lol
Based on the number of Ecobooms I've personally seen on these forums, I wouldn't be tuning it or modding it to make any more power than it is stock from the factory. Anything beyond that is playing with fire imo.

Thanks all for the replies so my first engine at 70k miles blown head gasket with FP tune second engine was a dud , used with 60k miles from silverrock warranties third party it had a knock since day one and finally blew up 2weeks later rod out the bottom . This 3rd engine was marked from a 2016 ecoboost with 66k miles on it. Cylinder 1 blow both sides in the cylinder. I push it with paddle shift when I drive but top speed 90 if my expedition can push 90 I would expect a mustang able to handle that. I really think these 2.3l engines were not built ford though?
