2017 Build Dates

Yeah, my salesman just talked to the rep and still no build quarter info. The only thing the rep told him is "it will be a while". Thats giving me a sense that this one wont be coming this year.

Ok, so I work for a Ford Dealership and had a chance to talk to our zone rep for the southeast region (1 of 6). She tells me she thinks the first few to be pulled for build will be late July. :(

No, the leading letter is the VIN year. F = 2015, G = 2016, H = 2017

They reset the counter for every model year.

So the first R is HR001, just like the first non-R is H0001.

Thanks for that info! I ordered my car in the atlanta region and was the 2nd to order. If thats true, maybe it will come in before snow falls.

Based on that window sticker, you have a build date of 6/22.

Having been thru the whole process over the last year on my MY16, I am still UMH for my MY17. I inquired about the quarter for my allocation (which was true last year, and mine was a Q1 slot, built on last day of Q1).

My sales guy advised that this MY it is not so allocated (not by quarter) and he has repeatedly told me he is hearing they may try to build out all the Shelby's earlier this year. He thinks, now that they are moving off the line, that they will try to complete all MY17 Shelby production by end of calendar 2016. Don't have facts to back that up, but he has mentioned it repeated as I inquire on my status. :shrug:
