Earliest GT350 and GT350R build dates

I love the “ Sherlock ️‍ Holmes “ you bring to the thread thanks again . Wow that’s number #1 for sure as a complete car and VIN . Until you end up with it , I will be overly bold for now that PP011 Monday May 26th 2015 “ so far “ is the earliest build date registered GT350R?

Based on previous conversations I suggest that PP001 will be staying with Ford for some time and possibly forever therefore suggest that PP011 may be the earliest built 2016 R and released so far.

With you having PP011 in your stable obviously there were 10 Pilot Production cars from the Spring of 2016 built prior to your car with PP001 probably staying with Ford for a long time therefore I suggest that there are only 9 other cars to be concerned with regarding you having the earliest known built PP GT350R which is pretty cool and just might stay that way for quite some time and possibly forever.

I can tell you that I purchased "PP0004" which was a 2013 Boss 302 and even though there were 3 other earlier 2013 PP Boss 302's produced prior to that car those cars have never surfaced with PP0004 now belonging to a close friend of mine in S.C. therefore your chances might be just as good as it was for this car.

Never worked for Ford but have been a very long time Blue Oval and Mustang enthusiast and have been very fortunate to build many friendships and relationships with a few outstanding dealerships along with getting to know a few people in Dearborn, Oakville and Flat Rock along with some communication also with DST in Romulus.

There is an MCA National Show in Tucson this October and would be cool if you brought your car/cars over to that show as would be nice to spend some time together talking Mustang, Comets and other cool automotive stuff.

Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge on the Bosses; now these GT350R’s are repeating some but not all of the Boss history; the previous owner of mine had done his research up to 2017 and texted me “ Nice! I need to send the production numbers for 2016. 526 total Rs were built. I’m not sure what preproduction cars were released but know there were 3 released when I got this one. “ and has said mine was the first one. ; the supervisor at FP said that Rarely any were sold but yet few that made it to be sold were sure they had all the updated corrected parts first . Mine seems to have ton of clear coat and all panels fit extremely well? ? Harry I sometimes go out and just sit in it and pinch myself lol . Is it really mine? I’m hoping that we find a tally of all these early GT350/ R’s for future history like my early 65/66 Shelby owners have done. Thanks as always for your input and Tom of course. Great news another PP Shelby; when was it built? Was it shipped to DST? Going to attach my last email from Anthony Fodera , he was a great help . I’m in the wait for diversified systems technologies manager to find any info on my Cars 6 to 8 weeks there , it was completely disassembled and repainted and all panels fit to show quality for Ford and shows .

I also found this info how to order your certificate;On my MSRP it shows a tag number under the optional equipment at the bottom and that shows it went to DST

Is yours a GT350 TECH PACAGE ?non R”? How is it equipped? My prior owner found that only three made it to the public of the 95

I’ve seen PP029 pictured here; a tech pkg GT350 ; your track pkg PP038 : and my GT350R PP011 . That goes along with my original owners claim of only three PRE PRODUCTION PP chassis sold to The public. ? Any more out there?? ( very interesting One Gt350 track pack , one Gt350 tech package, / one GT350R ) .

I actually talk to him using that 800 number and asked for him directly I never used his email. Give that a try I believe that will work.
