2017 Build Dates

[PP0001]

Looks like most of the first '17 builds are non R.
I was told by a dealer they won't build '17 R until the '16 production is over.
Aren't the 16 production over yet?

Not sure about the 2016MY GT350's but my 2017 GT350R is presently sitting at Ramp 51 in Flat Rock and waiting to be shipped to my dealership.

Hopefully is gets loaded and onto a train this week and if so I would like to receive my car by the end of June if possible!

'16 MY was over late May. Many Rs were built the first day of 2017 production. VIP cars only. Other than that no other R models scheduled or built.

So VIP cars won't hit the showrooms?

Not sure about the 2016MY GT350's but my 2017 GT350R is presently sitting at Ramp 51 in Flat Rock and waiting to be shipped to my dealership.

Hopefully is gets loaded and onto a train this week and if so I would like to receive my car by the end of June if possible!

I don't consider myself a VIP but I do consider myself very fortunate and blessed to be able to continue to enjoy these outstanding high performance Ford vehicles after purchasing them for almost 5 decades.

You and me both, stanglife! The dealer is only a few hundred miles from the plant and they still do not have my MY16 non-R. I wouldn't be surprised if I have the last MY16 made (build/blend date of May 31).

If any one deserves Very Important Person status, it would be Harry.
I believe among the community, 99% of us would agree. 5 decades of buying Fords, as well as the close friends he has made in the process, has gotten him there. If i would be running the show id send him a car first too as i get a glimpse of how much he loves these cars.
I only made an assumption as to who got the first run of R's as usually executives and VIPs should come first.
Soon, hopefully this week some more will get schedule dates

Ruby Red, black roof, base package for PP0001. Looks like Hamidi's except i think his has electronics package.

As far as i know, there havent been any other Rs scheduled other than the ones built in week 1. Maybe they will start getting picked up this Thursday night. FP tells us our dealers Reps will know what build quarter our allocations are for, but none of them know that information as of a couple days ago. Maybe things are getting more transparent as of today, IDK.

Yeah that's the same thing I'm getting - FP saying the rep should know & the rep saying they have no idea yet. Just wanted to make sure that's what others are hearing too - sounded odd since FP has been saying for at least three weeks now that the reps should know the timeframe. Guess we're all in the same boat - may the wait be short for you!
