Based on what happened last year with production of the 2016 R models shutting down on November 23rd I suggest that you will have your cars well before the cold hits.

I am certain that the boys in FR will have a lot more than just ~45 R models built and shipped before Thanksgiving for this year and that your two cars will certainly be amongst them.

Can anyone see a 2017 350 in cotus yet ?

For what is it worth earlier today I was told that my 2017 R model actually started heading down the assembly line in Flat Rock last Thursday, May 26th and they suggest that it is presently at the mod shop getting the CF spoiler and CF wheels put on.

Build completion and delivery date back to the Flat Rock assembly plant is set for this Friday, June 3rd.:eyebulge:

It feels like Christmas all over again and can't wait for it to arrive hopefully sooner than later.

Mine is scheduled for 6/07 build date and I cannot see it in cotus yet...

Your car has to be one of the last few R models built with a blend date of 5/26 so good luck with one of the very last chassis numbers.

Certainly would be very good to be "GR475" as that would be an outstanding stroke of luck to be the very last R model built for the 2016MY!

With any luck maybe right now our cars are wagging their tales right next to each other in the mod shop?:eyebulge:

Mine's not in the system yet. :(

That said, tried calling Ford Performance earlier in the week and those guys were really helpful giving me a bunch of info the dealer never did. After I mentioned I couldn't find anything on the cotus website was the first thing out of their mouth was "yeah, that site wasn't meant for the public..."

Many Reps are still in the dark as to when their allocations are slated for. Don't quite understand that. I would think that it would all be planned out initially before any allocations are given.

Via FP my R is "Unscheduled Material Hold" but he did see it on order, on the cotus website it tells me "A matching vehicle could not be determined. Please contact your dealer to get status updated about your order."

FP also told me that the cotus website shouldn't be working anymore? It was sort of an off comment made that I didn't follow-up on. Ford's ordering system does feel very disorganized coming from BMWs but hopefully as they start building more specialty cars and dealing with more anal-retentive buyers (like me) they'll be able to get a better system in place.

Yes sir, its in the system, but hasn't been made clean yet.
Many if not 95% are in the same boat. Dealers Reps have Reps and they don't even know who has what allocation and for when.

I don't mind waiting a year, but i'd at least like to know what quarter the allocation is for.
Isaac did mention that a couple more R's were picked up. Doesn't look organized but it works I guess.

On a brighter side, it gives me more time to debate what colors I'm gonna do...LOL ugh..

Called FP this morning. My window sticker indicated a scheduled build date of today. Latest update he had available was yesterday which indicated the car had already been built but was not in transport status yet!!!

Good thing I have access to rail status via VIN. I can track it all the way in once it gets into the transportation status.

Hey MSGT350, I think that shows your build date as JULY 6, 2016.

Mine was built on 6/6/2016. I'll let you know when mine gets going in transport as I have access to rail info...

It's actually the 7th. I got confirmation front the GM of the dealership.
