Yeah true, they didn't get everything, but still, they could have just let the car be as-is and they wouldn't have lost many if any sales.I sorta disagree. If they would have listened to the consumer they would have did the following:
*Performance Package with auto
*Premium interior option on V6
*Better sounding sound system at all levels
*More color options w/ Premium leather (Ceramic and dark saddle anyone?)
*Lower gear option on the Performance Pack
Still don't know why they didn't do this. The only thing I see that would be a challenge is the engine tuning that is apparently unique to the PP cars. They figured it out on the 50th LE though...*Performance Package with auto
I still think Ford is trying to phase out the V6, and push it to the rental market and push customers into the EB. I don't necessarily agree, but if that's their motive then don't expect a Premium V6 to ever be offered in S550*Premium interior option on V6
This has been quite a debate. While I don't think the stereo is THAT great, Ford would have to do a complete overhaul and tuning to get it fixed. Probably not something they wanted to deal with considering they were focusing on Sync3 which I think is more important (MFT is horrible IMO)*Better sounding sound system at all levels
I saw a few complaints about this, but not as many as the PP Wheels issue. Again, this would take some design time and inventory for a relatively small percentage of customers. Probably not a deal-breaker for most customers either. The premium trim isn't really all THAT special anyway.*More color options w/ Premium leather (Ceramic and dark saddle anyone?)
Yeah if I were to order a 2016, that'd be the only drawback to getting the PP with a convertible. I think the 3.55 gears I got are perfect. Although this is an easy swap for a customer or even dealer to do post-sale.*Lower gear option on the Performance Pack
