Interesting note on the GT standard equipment tab under the MT-82 info it says “new gearing”

I wonder what the exact gearing is??
That's the identical language from the 2019 guide. I don't think this year's is new.

Which makes me wonder if they reverted back to different gearing. It would be great news, if so for manual drivers.

That's actually not so good for vacation drives. The passenger deserves to adjust for max comfort as much as the driver.
I say remove the passenger seat altogether...

Nice. I did see your post in the NEED FOR GREEN THREAD. @211KonaBlue posted a pic without the stripe too. Apparently nobody liked HAVING to get the stripe! Probably why they discontinued it after one year. Due to that Need for Green should end up being pretty rare I would think.

6-way is forward/back, up/down, cushion tilt up/down. 4-way lacks cushion tilt. Power lumbar on the driver's seat is not counted in the adjustment number. Fart sound made by leather seat rubbing against console during forward/back adjustment remains standard.
On my 19 there's no leather on the side of the seat to rub on the console. It's cloth there.

I really hope they were produced in a small quantity. Someday, we will know how much they made. Might be worth a little more in 10 years, who knows? I bought one and I really think the stripes makes it look really good with black wheels and the black tinted windows.

For reference, here is the gearing for the MT82-D4, the MT82, and the Tremec in the GT350.

Wow, I didn't realize they made 5th gear the new 4th gear. I would hate that. However, I think a slightly taller 1st gear would be beneficial with 3.73 gearing.

Yeah, Yuck. My '41 has the same gearing as the earlier 6G cars. I really like the shorter spread, and having 5th as 1:1, with only one OD.
Coming from manuals that were always 4th gear = 1:1, I dig the short spread. Can't imagine why they changed it.

I hope they're going back.

But still no Ford spare available for GT PP1. :(
It's a $400 option but there sure is. Also the 18" spare with 165/70/18 drops right into the wheel well. You can get them for $100 on ebay as "18x4 Compact Spare Steel Fits 13-17 EXPLORER" among similar. You don't put a donut on the front wheels under any circumstance anyway so caliper clearance really isn't an issue.

As would be a PP2 with A10. I was kinda hoping for that.
I drove a handful of 10AT ecoboosts (and 8T 2.0L camaro) and they drove me up the wall. In the GT it was less aggravating but given the experience I absolutely will not buy any AT "performance" car unless perhaps it's German.

I have a 2018 GT with 20 inch premium painted aluminum wheels ...
And will this fit my car Okay?
Probably should move your post to the correct thread. That said Ford generally keeps the OD of the tire+wheel combo at a consistent size - about 27" across. So any Mustang spare (and others you can find that are same) should do fine.

Nothing really new other than the uprated ecoboost engine. I want them to offer power seatback adjustment and swap the information controls and stereo controls on the steering wheel.

Just but a 15-17 steering wheel. I prefer them the way they are now
