Up in the northeast, mice are always a big problem, like others suggested, pure mint oil (100%) screws with their senses and has helped estuary eliminate the problem up here but I spray every 4 months or so

More details on the R.... I like the black and blue combo.
Hey man. I see you've got one too. This 16 is a base model. Radio delete, AC delete, bare bones from the factory. Weighs in at about 3660lbs vs the 4200lb gt500. It's got about 30k miles on it. It was an evaluation car owned by Ford Corporate for the first 25k miles and 4 years. It's got a window sticker with corporate codes and some engineers name on it. CarFax shows the same history. It's running a 93 octane tune, and a couple other things 😉😁. It runs really strong. Rs, as you know, are pretty raw. This one even more so. No sound insulation from the factory, no trunk carpet, no Navi, no spare tire Inflator, no speakers and a few other missing things make it pretty raucous. I love it. It has Hankook summer tires on the CF wheels. Have a spare set of CF wheels with SC2s waiting for warmer weather. Car is a LOT of fun to drive even compared to the mighty GT500. Blue stripes on black is pretty rare. Only about 6 made per year in R form. This car is 1 of 6 for 2106, and the only base model black/blue from that year. Fairly unique.

What's up with yours?

All you people who store your cars for the winter better get out the flashlight and mechanical pickup grabber probe....

I got around to digging through my engine compartment. This could've been a fire... WTF!!!??? I just got the car a few weeks ago and didn't think this would even be a thing.

That last photo isn't even all of it. I was expecting to find some eggs or fur. Beware.

Nothing new here. Been experiencing this for fifty+ years I've been into cars, regular or collector ones. Checking my cars after storage, especially of longer duration, has been second nature forever.

I've been into cars since the 80s. First time for me. Guess I been lucky as far as critters go.

Had a little fella, myself. Gone and back a few times...certainly a few four letter words and found myself calling it the g** d*** chicharron.

Little fker chewed threw my injector wires and left a fair mess under the intake.

I use a product called "Fresh Cab" that comes four satchels to a box. Smells like pine and is made for farm equipment. In the winter, I place a few of them strategically around the shop - especially near outside walls / doors. Then, every few weeks, I throw a few more around and let them gather until spring when I clean things out.

You can pick it up at most hardware and big box stores - about 15 bucks per box.
Yup Fresh Cab works !

Peanut butter? That'll have the whole colony up in the engine bay.

Lol was going to say the same thing - it bring the dog shit into your car? Satanic. Bet that smelled nice.

I'll stop complaining about FL mosquitos and alligators now... At least they don't bring all the dog shit into my car haha.

LMAO...peanut butter on the sticky traps! I put one in each corner of the garage. Bait box just outside the doors.
