Had a little fella, myself. Gone and back a few times...certainly a few four letter words and found myself calling it the g** d*** chicharron.
Little fker chewed threw my injector wires and left a fair mess under the intake.
We’ll, a heavy foot, a pissed off clutch and a garage door pelted with gravel…the wet brake pads was the culprit. Wild.
Amazing…this could have been an amazingly expensive and frustrating process. Now I just have to lead hammer my garage door!

Actually, yes, it has been wet, and I washed the car, rotors, inner wheels, and brake calipers the day before. 500ft-lbs doesn't break them loose...what does?
Haven't read all of the pages of responses, but mine has/had the issue until I figured out what the culprit was. I think I left the AC on while on the track, so, my AC switch seems to have bouts of confusion. If it blows hot, I get the car up over 4k rpm...bring it back down....blows cold...
I’ll check it out! I don’t have an issue with turning the wheel left to right…just them rotating. Haven’t checked near the oil filter however…next up
