I see that American Muscle is selling a sequential taillight kit for the 2015. I never noticed before but does the 15 not come with this as 10 - 14 models did?

The car does come with the sequential taillights. The kit you see on American Muscle allows the taillights to blink sequentially when you turn your hazard lights on, brake, or lock/unlock the car. The stock lights do not blink sequentially during these functions, only while the blinker is on.

The 2015 has sequential turn signals, just as the S197 did. That kit adds sequential taillight signaling for keyless entry lock/unlock, hazards and braking.

Is there a video showing the kit in action?

Is there anyway you can stop the sequential lights. I rather the lights in the back blink all at once

Yes, just need to convert the sequential trigger into a constant output to the tails.

Keep an eye out for a Diode module to accomplish that- ETA early Summer.

Yeah I have never liked the sequential turn signals, just a bit campy. However the aftermarket kit that is sold for braking I think is dangerous, I want who is ever behind me to see all brake lights light up immediately, not give a slight delay so some jackhole can rear end me.

They look and act too much like traffic advisors, (like road work lights or police, medical direction arrows)
Thus giving the driver behind the impression he is supposed to go around you.
Not fun trying to turn left and some high teen ager thinks he's supposed to go around you to the left.

I don't believe there are more than a handful of simpletons on this planet that would interpret the sequential turn signal as a prompt to go around the vehicle.

Really? Let's make sure we prepare for all the ridiculous possible scenarios in life.

I found the sequential turn signals on my 2012 very effective. When I signaled, cars in the other lane reacted and made room quickly. (Compared to my previous 2000.)

I think human vision reacts to motion, and the sequential turn signals "motion" makes them very eye-catching.

Funny reading this as we in the UK and Europe won't be getting the sequential turn indicators or indeed the red lenses. Apparently ours will be clear.

So most of us are upset with Ford as the tri bar lights in red with the sequential indicators are Mustang through and through and we believe that we are getting a watered down version.

Annoying as other manufacturers have managed to have a red lens that turns amber for indicating.
