Has Ford released EPA figures only for GT's non-PP? I'm noticing Regular GT's got all that info but GT's with PP are still pending.
I agree with Tim. I believe they will only have a rating for GT Automatic and GT Manual. They won't break it down further by packages.

My guess is that the rating they have for the GT manual IS the PP. I believe this is why the manual now has the same highway rating as the automatic instead of being slightly higher like it was before... it's because of the 3.73s included with the PP.

Hmm, that's weird because my window sticker still shows "EPA DATA NOT AVAILABLE. UNIT NOT TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE." :(
Yeah, a new sticker will be on it by the time it lands at your dealer, or the dealer will put it on once it lands. No worries.

LOL no it's because FORD lied to us! Don't you read all the threads?

Seriously though, if Ford was erring on the side of caution and just went with worst case (3.73's) a lot of people are gonna be impressed with the gas mileage.

I also think octane will play a factor. I used midgrade in my F150 while on vacation, then went to premium, and saw an ncrease in 1 mile per gallon, with 4 adults, and a fully loaded bed. It also has a fiberglas toneau cover. Al that plays into the figures.
so once again money wasted on higher octane.

More like .30 or .40 here in FL.
Same here. Still, $0.40 over 15 gallons is only $6, less than a lot of people would spend at Wendy's for lunch. That shouldn't really break anyone, though, I think for a lot of folks saving a few cents per gallon is more about the principle of the matter.

I love how some people say, little more gas is no big deal.
People state things like everyone is in their financial situation, with the same income and expenses. Everyone drives the same amount and pays the same for gas. \
That little increase mentioned is over $1,000/per year for me... that just the increase, not total expense.

That might work out to a couple hundred extra dollars a year. Think about all the useless purchases you make in a year and try to cut a couple out. Or if your really that worried about it cancel one of the options you put on your new mustang and you'll easily pay for the extra price of fuel. Its just part of the cost of buying the car.

This sounds like a situation that my father would tell me to sit down and seriously think about what I really need versus what I want. I understand wanting a new Mustang, but if the increase in fuel cost annually is a problem, are you certain that this is the right car for you - or perhaps the right version of the car for you? Its not my place to say that it is or isn't, I'm only pointing out that sometimes its tough to balance wants and needs, and it warrants careful consideration. I've been down that road many times...
