  1. 2015 GT PP winter tires ?

I have the Hak R2's and drove them all last winter. They are hands down the best winter tires i have ever had.
  2. Best winter tires available

While i ageee with what you said jawa i just got good insurance and prefer to enjoy driving my really nice car all the time rather than letting it collect dust in storage. I thought about buying a beater but i just dont want to have to deal with a shitty vehicle. Plus any money that goes into...
  3. Best winter tires available

I have to nokian hak r2s and they are phenominal. Drove it through winter with no issues. No weight is needed the car is already well ballanced and lets not kid ourselves its a heavy car to begin with so it handles snow and ice just fine. Just make sure you get skinnier winter tires than your...
  4. GT mileage

make that anywhere from 8 to 10 on the highway
  5. GT mileage

9600 KM and I get around 13-15 in town and 24-29 on the highway. Its pretty easy for that number to jump to 20 around town with just a little extra throttle input.
  6. Ford employee pricing

You can definitely use both at the same time as that is what I did. Costco does not send you a check for $1000. You fill out paperwork at the dealership and they submit it to costco. The dealership does not loose any money by offering you both of those incentives. Costco will reimburse them for...
  7. How much did you pay out the door and on the road?

20% more based on exchange alone, then taxes and import charges. So its not exactly cheap right now.
  8. How much did you pay out the door and on the road?

Wheels and tires came from kal-tire the dealer just ordered them for me. Just more convenient that way. Wheels were $210 a piece which isnt bad for a nice set of aluminum rims for winter duty. The tires were almost double that at $370 a tire I believe. I could have got tires cheaper from my...
  9. How much did you pay out the door and on the road?

Got a GT Premium w/PP, a set of Klasse winter rims with Nokian Hak R3s (3 grand ish). Paid pretty much exactly 49k taxes in. I used A-Plan pricing along with the $1000 costco discount. Then had 10k down. Without the winter rims and tires i think it was upper 46 low 47k taxes in.
  10. 2015 sequential taillights?

So your telling me they that they should stop putting flashing lights and indicators on emergency vehicles and road workers because those are not noticeable or easy to see? That makes zero sense. Personally i think the sequential tails would draw more attention than normal as every other vehicle...
  11. Was it the 5.0 or the 3.73s?

People who say the Mustang is not practical for winter either have either not driven through enough winters or do not give enough respect to winter driving conditions. Most other cars (civic, mazda, or others) have the same or lower ground clearance than the mustang. Front wheel drive vehicles...
  12. Canadian Sourcing for Performance Parts

Ford Racing Sport catback from steeda.ca is $2590 + $259 in tax here in sask. I got a quote from the Ford Dealer here for the exact same kit and it was $1650 + $160 tax. Even at $1400 from CJ's plus tax and exchange it would be several hundred cheaper than. the Steeda.ca price. Ive bough stuff...
  13. Anybody know of chrome wheels like these availble?

A chromium- alloy wheel would essentially be a stainless steel wheel. You will never find a pure chrome wheel like you are looking for. A steel with roughly greater than 13% chrome will be considered a true stainless steel. You could try to find a stainless steel that has the corrosion...
  14. Anyone from Sask?

Well i dont have any exotics but i do have a 15 gt.
  15. Cold engine - surging under light throttle?

I dont have a tune so it is not that. Ive got about 4000 miles on my car now and ive noticed it all winter especially when it was like -30. Until the car warms up power below 3000 is just kind of meh, but after 3000 rpm it feels somewhat normal. The days its warm out now or when i get back into...
  16. Cold engine - surging under light throttle?

I notice the exact same thing every day since it is still kind of cool here. The surge happens right at 3000 rpm pretty much every time. Once the engine is warm it completely goes away so i have just assumed it is normal.
  17. Steeda.ca prices are rediculous

I know there are other places to shop online but I just dont understand why canadian supplies try to pull this when i could buy the exact same thing from the states, pay for shipping duty and taxes and get it cheaper. Look at the cost of the Ford racing sport catback:eyebulge:. The axel backs...
  18. Gas cost comparison Eco vs GT - It's only 60¢ a day

Ive seen as high as 28.3 MPG at 75 MPH in my car over a 4 hour drive, and I average around 23-24 on the highway normally. But otherwise I agree with you dont buy a GT if good MPG is one of your main reasons for getting a car.
  19. GT PP detune in low gears?

The page I attached from the owners manual talks about Stability Control/ AdvanceTrac.
  20. First EB Driveshaft shop CF driveshaft!!!

Imagine swinging a baseball bat with a 10 lb weight on the end for a few swings and then removing the weight and taking a few more swings. During each swing you swing with the exact same amount of force. The swings with the weight take longer to accelerate the bat, and longer to slow the bat...
